Webstyles marked a strong presence in WebX Awards, the newly established institution rewarding excellence in the realm of the Greek Internet, by receiving the Bronze Award in the category Cooking- Best of Web Presence for the design and creation of the new website www.www.alexandrospapandreou.gr.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, February 16, at the Live Hall that is part of the gazARTE multispace. Konstantinos Tzagarakis, Founder & Head Programmer of Webstyles was there to receive the award.
www.www.alexandrospapandreou.gr was created using an open-source code system that strictly adhered to Chef’s Brand Guidelines. The website makes full use of cutting edge technical infrastructures and SEO techniques both of which promptly secured for the website first place in some of the most targeted and highly competitive category searches.
The new website boasts a minimal landing page design with a cool, user-friendly and creative approach which almost immediately drew hundreds of visitors looking for great tasty recipes, wishing to book a place in their favorite cooking seminar, or just following Chef Alexandros Papandreou’s news and activities.
Last but not least, the website broke through to the competition’s final stage among dozens of other entries and was the only one in the category to collect the required votes, securing its place among the three best contestants.
