Sausages oven-baked slowly with cherry tomatoes in four colors, and fresh herbs

4 Moutevelis sausages with leek
4 Moutevelis Meraklidiko spicy sausages
300g red cherry tomatoes
300g yellow cherry tomatoes
300g orange cherry tomatoes
300g heirloom cherry tomatoes
3 sprigs thyme
3 sprigs oregano
2 sprigs rosemary
2 tbsp sugar
Salt
Freshly ground pepper

On a cutting board, use a sharp knife to cut cherry tomatoes into halves. Place cut side up in a nonstick baking tin in one layer.
Sprinkle the sugar, salt, and freshly ground pepper on the cherry tomatoes. On the same cutting board, use a sharp knife to score the Moutevelis leek and meraklidiko sausages on both sides, making a total of 8 diagonal, small incisions on each.
Preheat oven to 180°C. Layer the sausages on the same baking tin with the cherry tomatoes. Crush and scatter on top the aromatic herbs: the thyme, oregano, and rosemary.
Bake for 10-12 min until cherry tomatoes are roasted and sausages release their aromas.
